150 Anniversary Town Walk - Saturday 11th May

This was a special Town Walk to discover what Alsager was like 150 years ago in 1869, with reference to our local Methodist churches, to discover our history and heritage.  The walk was designed by local historian Jim Sutton and led by our Wesley Place Walking Fellowship.

As part of the 150th Anniversary Celebrations we will be providing a display of photographs and other memorabilia,  reflecting the life of our Church over the years.

150 kilometre "walk" around the Circuit- 14th - 21st July 2019

On July 14th different members of Wesley Place set out to cover 150km around the Cheshire South Circuit. This goes as far west as the Welsh border, as far south as Whitchurch, as far north as Sandbach, while Alsager lies the furthest East. We finished the journey at the beginning of the service on July 21st. This journey was done using a variety of different modes of transport ranging from foot,  bikes, a vintage car, running, and a kayak. As the journey took place Wesley the Whale was passed as a baton. This was a sponsored event, with money going towards Action for Children and the church funds.
