The Wesley Guild meets every fortnight on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Wed. 18th October     -  The Speaker will be Rev'd. Rob Hilton
Wed. 1st November - The Speaker will be Dr. Jill Barber (ex-Vice President Methodist Conference)

Women's Fellowship

The Women's Fellowship meets at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoons.
A warm invitation is extended to women of all ages.

The Church is open each Wednesday for quiet devotion from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service at 10:30 a.m. The third Wednesday of month is a service of Holy Communion.

Monday Fun Tea Club

Monday Fun Tea Club

We meet from 2.00 p.m - 4.00 pm each Monday (excluding bank holidays) and play a variety of table-top games. These range from Backgammon, Sorry, Scrabble, or Chess to interesting variations of card games and dominoes where up to 8 can play. Generally there is much laughter and tea and biscuits are served.

All are welcome, come and join us. If you are uncertain, just give it a try.

Walking Fellowship

Young People's Activities


Wesley Place Adventurers' Club (WPAC) meets every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m., and provides a fun-based learning experience for children of all ages. For more details of WPAC, click here.

Special Events This Month

Harvest at Wesley Place

This year's Harvest Services will take place on Sunday 1st October at 10:30 am and 6:30pm

On Sunday 1st OctoberOn Sunday 1st October,  a frugal lunch of vegetable soup will be held after the morning service for us all to share in Harvest fellowship together. Donations will be taken for the 'All We Can Zimbabwe Appeal' (suggested donation 5). If you would like to attend please let one of the stewards know so we have an idea of numbers for catering purposes

Concert by the Alsager Can't Sing Choir

Saturday 21st October  at 7:30pm

A concert to raise church funds with a wide variety of songs including tributes for the people of Manchester and London after their recent tragedies.

Songs will include "Puppet on a String" , King of the Road", "Love me Tender", "Downtown" and "The Streets of London". There will be some classical and crossover music "O mio babbino caro" by Puccini, "Cantus Iteratus"  by Jenkins,  a trip to Ascot on the opening day and some audience participation in "Flash, Bang, Wallop" from Half a Sixpence. (Bring a small percussion instrument if you like!).

The Rhinestone Cowboy for Glen Campbell and a violin solo or two from Jack complete the picture and should add up to a full evening's entertainment
