Wesley Guild

The Wesley Guild meets every fortnight on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday 17th October - Mr. Andrew Taylor will talk about "Waterway Chaplaincy"

Tuesday Fellowship


Following the success of our Summer Tea & Chat afternoons, Women's Fellowship has changed.

The meeting will now be open to all, male, female, old, young, church member or not. We will follow a similar pattern with various speakers but with more opportunities for tea & chat.

The Church is open each Wednesday for quiet devotion from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service at 10:30 a.m. The third Wednesday of month is a service of Holy Communion.

Monday Fun Tea Club

Monday Fun Tea Club

We meet from 2.00 p.m - 4.00 pm each Monday (excluding bank holidays) and play a variety of table-top games. These range from Backgammon, Sorry, Scrabble, or Chess to interesting variations of card games and dominoes where up to 8 can play. Generally there is much laughter and tea and biscuits are served.

All are welcome, come and join us. If you are uncertain, just give it a try.

Walking Fellowship

  Join us for a time of friendship and fellowship - all welcome

The following walks will take place:
October 10th at 9:30 a.m.
October 24th  at 9:30 a.m.
November 14th at 9:30 a.m.

Young People's Activities


Wesley Place Adventurers' Club (WPAC) meets every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m., and provides a fun-based learning experience for children of all ages. For more details of WPAC, click here.

Special Events This Month

Harvest Festival Weekend
October 6th - 7th

In keeping with this year's Harvest theme of British Farming we are celebrating our Harvest with a Barn Dance (or Ceilidh) with Ploughman's Supper on Saturday 6th October at 5.30pm with live band 'Shave the Donkey'! Tickets are 6 (half price for children) and are available from Harriet or The Stewards. As ever, absolutely all are welcome, and be assured that you will not be pressured to dance if you don't want to, you can just come along and enjoy fellowship, food and music. However, if you like a good dance bring your dancing shoes and get stuck in!

The Harvest Services will be at 10:30 am and 6:30pm on October 7th

Choir Performance at Wesley Place

 Alsager Community Choir (conducted by Daniel Keen) present a concert in aid of CMT. On 13th October.

 Featuring a wide variety of music suitable for all ages and tastes as well as musical theatre numbers by guest soloist Lucy Jane.
